Mr Ahmed Elshiekh is a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust. He holds the FRCS in Vascular Surgery and CCT in Vascular Surgery, alongside a Master's in Healthcare Leadership from Swansea University, where he received the Swansea Excellence Scholarship. He treats the full spectrum of arterial and venous disease, including varicose veins, peripheral arterial disease, diabetic foot disease, carotid disease, and complex aortic aneurysms. He completed advanced endovascular fellowships at Gold Coast University Hospital, Australia, and holds the European Venous Course Diploma.

Mr Elshiekh specialises in complex vascular reconstructions and hybrid procedures, with a particular interest in low-radiation, ultra-low contrast endovascular techniques that reduce kidney injury risk. He was a founding faculty member of the UK's first IVUS-assisted EVAR training course.

He served three years on the BMA's West Midlands Council, has published widely, and is dedicated to compassionate, patient-centred care.
