Ben Lindsey

Mr Ben Lindsey is a Consultant Vascular Surgeon with over 30 years of experience, specialising in the treatment of varicose veins and venous disease. He practises privately across London and holds an NHS consultant post at Barts Health (Royal London Hospital).

Graduating from University College London in 1993, he trained across the UK and South Africa. His research focused on how disrupted blood flow damages leg skin tissue at a microscopic level, a foundation that directly shapes his clinical approach today.

A recognised innovator in his field, Mr Lindsey has received major EPSRC research funding to develop a wearable device that detects blood flow beneath the skin. He currently chairs a pan-London quality improvement programme overseeing vascular care for over 6,000 dialysis patients across the capital.

Above all, Mr Lindsey is known for clear, honest communication, ensuring every patient fully understands what to expect before committing to treatment.
