Sulaiman S. Shoab

Syed Sulaiman Shoab is a Consultant Vascular Surgeon at Royal Preston Hospital, part of Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where he has practised for a number of years as part of one of the largest regional vascular centres in the North of England. The Preston centre serves a population of approximately 1.5 million people across Lancashire and South Cumbria, functioning as the designated hub for complex and emergency vascular cases across four partner hospital trusts.His clinical interests span the full scope of vascular surgery, with a particular focus on varicose vein treatment and peripheral vascular disease.

For patients with varicose veins, he offers modern minimally invasive approaches tailored to each individual's anatomy and presentation. His broader practice includes the management of aortic aneurysms, peripheral arterial disease and endovascular interventions, with all surgical outcomes submitted to the National Vascular Registry.Alongside his clinical work, Shoab maintains an active research profile, having authored and co-authored a substantial body of peer-reviewed publications in vascular surgery.

His published work covers topics including venous disease, peripheral vascular disease and aortic conditions.
